The goal of education for sustainable development is to educate children in the development of ideas, skills and knowledge about sustainable development in order to one day create a better world for their own and for future generations.
Secondary objectives relate to the application and implementation of educational principles within the project adopted at the 2005 United Nations World Summit, which include fostering interdisciplinarity and integrity in children, value orientation, critical thinking and problem solving, multidisciplinary, participation in decision-making and the applicability of decisions to local community.
The aim of this project is to empower children in their critical thinking, encourage them to cooperate with each other and bring them closer to the concepts of active citizenship, human rights and social change. One of the current projects is the development of educational materials and workshops for sustainable development, which would be conducted on a voluntary basis in schools and kindergartens.
